245/35/ZR19 front and 275/30/ZR19 rear tires. I could probably get away with 285s now that the rear fenders are ground.

Yep, they put in another short block. It wasn't exactly new. It had about 9,000 miles on it. It did have upgraded ARP rod bolts for higher RPM if I wanted to do that, so I guess that's an extra bonus. The guy that did it felt bad. He's still there and actually does a great job. I'll most likely be going there again this spring for more mods.

I love the sound of an LS motor with longtubes and exhaust. I almost want to get a quieter setup, as my American Racing LTs and ORY with Borla catback is very loud, even when not in the gas. Plus, I have a rasp that I can't get rid of in the 2200-2500RPM range.

Where are you getting it tuned?

Upstate, near Poughkeepsie if you know where that is. I've been searching around for a good shop with a dyno. Had the car on a dyno jet when it was stock at Sick Speed Performance over in Goshen about two years ago but apparently he got rid of his dyno. Wasn't at his speed shop but rather at his father's truck/tractor repair shop so they might have needed that bay back.

I've been poking around trying to find a new place nearby. Best I've come up with so far is Mongillo Motors in New Haven, CT. Its about 1 hour 40 minutes from here. They seem pretty reputable and have done a lot of GM's. They've got a Mustang Dyno. HP Tuners software as well, which from what I've read is the shit when it comes to tuning. Next nearest would be on Long Island probably about 2.5 hours away.

I've got a Diablosport Predator so tonight I flashed it to the latest firmware and put a canned 93 octane tune in. When the weather clears up I'll take the car for a spin and do some data logging to see how it likes that tune. I need to read up some more on what numbers I'm looking for as well.
 
Yeah I know where Poughkeepsie is, never been there but took the Metro-North a few times that ended there.

I was going to suggest New Era Performance (Facebook, has dyno videos), but they are kinda far from you. I used to work there a couple years ago, they do great work. Got my WS6 dynoed at their old shop, have yet to check out their new place but it looks pretty nice. Mike does awesome work on his laptop, they also use HPTuners.

I wasn't just looking for more power when I tuned mine, I felt the car ran much better/smoother after getting it tuned. Since I'm not looking to break any land speed records, I was happy.
