Today we rented bikes and rode into San Pedro, the main town on Ambergris Caye. Most people ride gasoline powered golf carts or bikes. Would be great if someone were to convert the majority into solar powered carts. Nice little town, had a good lunch, did a bit of swimming and saw a ray. Not much else to see close to shore, will have to rent some kayaks and get out to the reef, going on a tour tomorrow.

Also saw another guy with his 'girlfriend'. This 'woman' was probably a man. She had the face of a neanderthal, I'm not kidding she had a forehead that stuck out 3 feet, and the body of a male body builder, except for the big breasts. Probably a sex change or something, don't get why some guys are into that?

Well they canceled todays snorkeling tour because of wind 🙁 did a little more snorkeling off the pier but not much to see there. Let's hope the weather improves, nice and sunny but windy. We may try booking through a different tour company.

you will be able to find rays in the grasses, some fishes around the docks. there was a nurse shark that hung around around ours. the reef is so huge, it protects the island from the waves, so the grasses grow large. need to get out to the reef to see the good stuff.

Yes I saw two rays which was neat, even touched the small one. Saw some fish too. I know the good stuff is out by the reef but they refused to lend us kayacks to go out there because of the wind. Hoping tomorrow is better.

Why are you on here ... I leave the internet at home when I go on vacation, outside of major emergencies of course.

Free WiFi in the resort posting by phone. They canceled the snorkeling tour and refuse to lend us kayacks so not much I can do now. We plan to go into town to have dinner later.

Really? There is ALWAYS something to do on vacation, you just have to look!

Well the weather isn't looking good for the rest of the time we will be here. Looks like it will be stormy. Might not get any snorkeling in which would be fucking annoying as that is a good part of the reason we came here. Oh well we will plan around it if we have to. Had a good dinner tonight in san Pedro.

Damn lucky guy............... I've been meaning to go there for a long time.

Post pics when you get back.

Have Fun.

Cheers,
Aquaman

Update: had a great time today! Snorkeling tour on a sail boat with a rastafarian type guide. About 15 of us in the group, mostly young students, some cute girls too though they were with their BFs. Saw and touched nurse sharks and rays also saw tons of coral and other fish, a sea turtle and green moray eel too. Had rum punch on the sail back. Had dinner in a local hole in thee wall Lebanese place, quite good. Got too much sun though, really bad sun burn on my back, putting on cloths hurts, lol. Father is almost sick from the sun. I put on sun screen and wore a shirt in the water but for some stupid reason took the shirt off half way through. Will remember the sharks and rays for a long time!

Another pretty good day. Mostly walked around Caye Caulker, had lunch, took photos and layzed around in the beautiful weather. Tomorrow is our last day, going to see if we can get in one more snorkeling tour.
