Well i had only wanted to upgrade part of my system, but things didn't work out that way so i'm running a brand new machine, which i'm happy about(didn't want to spend this much, but at least it runs eh!) My old one completly died on me. My new current setup is:
Biostar K8 Nforce board
AMD Sempron 3400+ (2.01ghz)
1gb Ram
2x 300gb Maxtor diamondmax PATA
1 8x DVD drive
1 Samsung DVD/CDRW combo
ATI Radeion 7000ve(i know it's weak, but i don't plan on gaming or anything)
Antec 430w PSU
Windows XP Pro
My old Radeon 9700pro 128mb completely died(at least for me) and i have a toshiba DVD burner i'm going to put in as soon as i get everything else settled in.
