Hahaha nice.

I'm kinda late this year. I should have done it before my set of night shifts but did not feel like it. I'll probably put it up in a few days when I'm off. Also going to put up the outside garlands. I've already been turning off my lights for the past couple days.

Crazy to think there are only like 28 days left till Christmas. Going to leave everything up till half way through January to make up for the fact that I'm late at putting it up. :p

The old Northern Ontario tradition of going out onto crown land and getting your one free tree. Friend of mine said him and his buddies used to use bird shot to cut em down. Good times. :awe:

Actually, I haven't seen the real trees go up for sale yet. Garden centres are selling garlands and swags though. Picked up a wreath yesterday for the front door.

Now, would I cut down a wild tree (vs a tame tree?) :whiste:
If I did, I could feed the remains to the goats. No evidence left behind. If I did.

We went to the farm on Sunday and cut down 3 trees (one for us, my mom and mother in law).

It's something we do every year right after thanksgiving, over the years it has become a family tradition.
