Using an A7V and duron 600 with chrome orb/arctic silver. After weeks of trying I read somewhere about cooling the KT133 chipset and the ICS multiplier chip. So I hacked my old Heatsink (using the Gorb on the GF2MX) from my GF2MX and placed it on the ICS chip and a small 486 fan on the KT133. (used an Hacksaw).
Results
KT133 - previously in 42C and higher (now under 40C)
ICS (previously 55C and higher) now 40C - BIG change here
So I had an unworkable 950 before now I can even post at 997.5 but unstable. Finally got it stable at 969 at 1.80volts. Woohooo. Later I am going to up it gradually to the 1Gz goal. Still have .05 volts left...I see something happening here
