I hit a hair over 4000 with my stock Opteron 165 and stock eVGA 7800GT.

checkanands review here, my x1800 xt ran +/- 50 of what they got for x1800 xt, and I am running an fx-57, raptor, x1800 xt, 1.5 igs ram, asus mobo. Seems like 3dmark 06 favors nvidia. I got scared when the CPU part was giving my <1 fps, I had never run 3mark anything before. Turned out I was dead on.

Wow my score is higher than the 7800GTX!! by 300 points! WOOHOO!! Lol after being so used to 3dmark05 I didn't have a clue about what was normal for 06.
