What? Sub-standard wages. Ory-gun gas pumpers get paid pretty well...(depending on the station, of course) State minimum wage (as of July 1st) is $11.25/ hr, $12.50 In the Portland metropolitan area. Most gas station attendants I've talked with get between $15-$20/hr...and gas prices are still cheaper than self-serve gas prices in WA.
