Finally got a Buell!

After wanting one for 5 years (since the xb9 came out). It's amazing. It's an 04 xb12r. I went from a ninja 250, to this. Crazy amount of power, twist and go. Puts a big shit-eating grin on my face every time I ride it! I love how it sounds. Wish I could post a sound clip.

I'm stuck on my MZ RT125 atm 🙁

Looking to hit a ZX-6R or NSR400 next summer though, but doubt I'll get anything as nice looking as what you got there.
 
Grats!!! I have always loved Buells. They are definitely on my short list for my next bike.

The new liquid cooled Rotax powered model should be amazing.
 
Nice bike,congratulations! I got a Lightning last month, and so far love it. The torque is addicting, although I sometimes miss the "rush" of an inline 4.

Congrats on the upgrade!

A guy i work with has an xb12r like that in black, it really is a sexy bike.

I always wanted to ride a one, i just cant believe they redline under 7k seems so low.

Long stroke means high piston speed and I'm suprised it's 7k. 🙂


Nice bike dustmann. I was happy when HD bought out Eric Buell because the product became factory.

I still have the ninja, trying to sell it to put a little more cash in my pocket. The 7k redline really is pretty nice for a 45* v-twin. It really starts to pull hard around 4k, which is usually when the front end starts coming up. Fun stuff!

Buell entered an entirely new market with the 1125r, and to be honest, that's a lot of bike! They say 160hp is only a pipe and ecm away, I've still got a handful keeping the 103hp of the xb under control hehe.

I had it up for 2k, but I think it's a little late in the season to get that out of it, as I only got a couple of calls. I had a dealer offer 1650, which is a bit lower than I'd like. I think I can probably get 1800 for it.
