Are you on Dolphin or Dolphin HD? I'm running a nightly CM6 build for the EVO and no issues with Dolphin HD here.
Dolphin HD.

Well last night I changed to the jdlfg 1.1 ghz kernal and it seems to be much better.
I might try ChevyNo1's to see what that's like.
Welcome to the vicious circle of rooting. Every ROM offers different improvements over others. I'm currently using a Spanish Froyo ROM on my myTouch. Its the most stable one I have come across with a black status bar. By the end of the week I'll probably be running something different.
The thing I really like is that Google automatically backs up and reinstalls my apps for me now. I had a love/hate thing going with Titanium and now I don't have to mess with it.
Go with Amon-Ra's recovery. Clockwork gave me fits too. Amon does a lot more and is more stable. It doesn't work with ROM manager though, which is fine because that gave me fits as well.
Amon Ra isn't open source. And if your SD card is dying, then it will eventually affect a lot more than just flashing recovery images. Replace it.
And there it is....Jrummy released LithiumMod, based on FRG01B. Time to waste an hour putting this on my Droid.

actually i am going to wipe. every lithiummod i installed i lost my software keyboard. its rebooting right now after a data wipe.
Speaking as a total noob to the smartphone world who just got a Droid 3 days ago... I got BB 0.4 set up without a hitch. I used this themed version which has a nice blue-themed UI. Nice and stable. Replaced the kernel with ChevyNo1 1.1GHz LV and it's running smooth.
Jesus, ONE DAY after Lithium, Chevy released SS 4.6. HUGE update. I gotta stop going to droidforum so i dont know about releases so soon.![]()
downloaded lithium, now a couple of my paid apps are showing I need to buy it again. Argh.
