I'm a bit confused.

How is one supposed to fit their pilly packer in that thing?

:hmm:

Check out this awesome multitool I found. If I run out of money and I still need shit, I just point and click:

The problem I have found with these magic money making devices it that at some point the device malfunctions and all the money turns red :'(

Still like the Gerber multi-plier, for one reason; they're the only ones with tools on the outside of the handles (easier access), and with tools that are NOT needlenose pliers.

Had too many of the needlenose pliers break on me. Give me a big, beefy pliers jaw!!

Actually most of the newer Leathermans and Sogs now have the tools on the outside.
Crosscut is an older design. They just dont have a new mini tool yet. But their full size models have gone over to easy access outside tools.
Leatherman Squirt and Juice have all outside tools.

I had a sog multitool i loved it. great tool to have. I lost it a dam field a few years ago. i was not happy

I have a Gerber Crucial - http://www.gerbergear.com/index.php/product/id/400

My primary need is a blade first, then a screw driver and lastly, the pliers. Most of the pocket-clip based tools unfortunately use the quick-replace bits which have a tendency to get lost. They're not very secure, and this was one of the few that had the actual lockable tool. It's also a nice size and opens easy without adding a lot of bulk.
