GT Legends, 35 car race, at night, at 1280x1024, with all details turned up... With or without AA/AF, the game crawls along at these settings :x. So yea, the power is nice to have, IDC if Crysis was delayed :|.
Nah, I do have the thing overclocked to 2.8Ghz atm, I just haven't updated my profile at all... Haven't gotten to it.
I'm thinking it has to be in large part due to the 8800, I mean I'm getting 15-16 fps at the start of the race . Now, of course, this isn't a realistic situation anyway, but if I theoretically had to race 34 opponents at night (with headlights turned on, keep that in mind) in GT Legends, no less than 2 8800GTX's in SLI would do .
I don't know, it sounds like a kick ass card to me. With my system specs listed below would I get a good performance boost or should I go for a 7950GT and use the leftover money for a new CPU? Should I upgrade my CPU to get the most out of the 8800 card?
Sincerely,
Hans Groenewold
