I agree, the cliffracers were uber-annoying, but there was a mod to get rid of them.

I'm just starting it. I'm about a week and a half into it and am level 19. this is fun! The only thing was that I stole this green glass sword that poisoned the target up to some ungodly number that I was running all around with killing things. Then I broke into someone's house when a guard was looking and not only did he take my gold, but he took the three weapons that I'd so cleaverly stolen :( Now I have a lousy hammer of maming and some sword of fire thing. Bah... if I kill the guard, can I get my stuff back??

I stopped playing Morrowind about 2 weeks after I got it. Too much walking around and bad combat system IMO.

Morrowind was a blast, but after I found out about that royal guard thing it kinda ruined the game for me, became too easy to become too powerful... dont read on if you dont wanna find out about it -

I found out that you could just kill those guards in that big city (I forget the name, the one with all the large buildings/districts and bridges and those bada$$ guards walking around everywhere). Killing those guards and selling their equipment gave ya hundreds of thousands of dollas... And I ruined the game by training all my skills so high that nothing was really a challenge (It is pretty cool to be able to make potions that let ya levitate for like 15 minutes though).

Nope. If you steal somethihng and get caught then they take back everything you have stolen...at any point in the game. There is a way to cheat to keep your stolen stuff but I don't know it offhand. Also, I am sure you can google to find a cheat to "give" yourself the items back. I had to do this with one item later in the game which I needed to finish a required quest and I must have sold earlier and forgotten about. Whoopsie. Almost spoiled >200 hours of gameplay right there. Thank god for the cheaters.

HIghly recommended for CRPG'ers.

What is wrong with the above? :)

And you are still recommending this, I'd guess you're not happy until all marriages are runied right? :D

Ever tried Baldur's Gate Series? After that game, I stopped playing CRPGs for similar reasons you mentioned above.

Yup, I finished BG1 and played halfway through BG2. Not nearly as time consuming as Morrowind...not by a longshot. I could conceivably played Morrowind for another 200 hours if I wanted to finish all of the interesting little things to do in the game.
