What cases work well with the Epox 4G4A+? :D

Will it fit in an Evercase from newegg??? (With room for CD-ROMs?)

DevilsAdvocate,

I just put together a rig with the evercase:

Linky

P4 1.8A
Asus PB533-V
2-80 gig Maxtor
16x Toshiba dvd
40x Lite On
Quiet PC PSU

Case is cheap, modding was easy, fits great.

There's pretty good room. Do you mean as in the amt of space for the ide ribbons and psu cabling? It's not as spacious as the ANtec sx1030 and sx830

My brother had a Evercase and it was a nightmare trying to do any kind of cable management inside the case. Everything was a tight fit. An Antec or Chieftec would give you a lot more room and airflow.

What I am worried about is how far the CD-RW and DVD ROM will stick out, and if it will hit the capacitors in the upper corner of the board or prevent me from using some of the RAM slots.

Nope, the cd-roms didn't touch any part of the mobo like other cases. As you can see, I used the 1st and 3rd 5.25" drive bays. No problem whatsoever. It's a tight fit for the wires but imagine the psu wires without the coil, it was a jungle in there!!!!

oldfart,

Oooh! Nice case, like it, must have it :D

Is the cable for the front panel USB ports long enough to reach the header on the EPoX 4G4A+ (and plug compatible)? If so I've found my case.
