[Bush] Declared the national anthem should be sung in English ? not Spanish ? in response to the recent release of a Spanish language version. "And I think people who want to be a citizen of this country ought to learn English and they ought to learn to sing the national anthem in English," he said.

Yay for english.

If they're going to make people who want to become citizens learn English, they'd better make it the official langauge.

I agree that the national anthem should be sung in English.

I do not agree that knowing English should be a prerequisite for people trying to better their lives by moving to America (though I would support laws protecting businsesses against discrimination lawsuits for refsing to hire people who couldn't speak English).

I actually have to agree with Bush on this. My belief is that if you want to live and work in America, you need to learn English.

Sorry, but you're wrong. It's nice to finally agree with him on something.
