Finally an LCD that blows FD tubes away.

I just posted my review at newegg but I'm so impressed I'll share with you'all.:)

I owned a Samsung 191T, which is a hot hot seller here (at newegg) and went with the reviews....was i ever disappointed.:( The flat screen on that monitor distorted the text and color looked washed out. I also own a 17" BenQ which is very good though.

The AG NEOVO E-19A, on the other hand, blows both away immediatly upon connection. all colors are rich and text is crisp right out of the box with it's "auto ajust". The screen and caseing look very elegant. Never will i buy another LCD with matte screen, thier proprietary "NeoV Crystal Optic Filter" focuses the light to crispness without too much glare.

Same here ,text is very crisp in DVI mode on my 191T,as to colour it`s rich and detailed enough, just need to use the Natural Colour software supplied to set it up right.

One thing good about the AG Neovo filter is it puts a piece of glass between the LCD screen and people who like to poke their finger at the screen.

Looks nice- wish it was cheaper.
Price is damn near the Dell 20"

How's the glare with it?

I had the NEC 1765 which has a glass screen, but I took it back because the glare was too much. (Like I could always see my reflection in it.)

Yes I love that monitor too:) Saw it at circuit city and fell in love, however on closer examination the glare was unbearable. This monitor has about half as much..it's more like a tube like a trinitron in it's glare but not as matte as the samsung nor as bad as the NEC you had. I beleive it's the same backlight as the SX series from NEC since the specs are the same. Check that price but be laying down on a soft surface before you do.

the problem with LCD monitors, is that once you're used to them u find all CRT monitors fuzzy ;)

I owned a 2001FP for a couple weeks and imo it certainly is not the best thing on the market

it is certainly great for the price $750

but IMO I really dont consider it worth 100-150 more than the 2000FP which I currently have

I ended up selling the 2001FP instead of the 2000FP

25ms? There goes good gaming......

Not necessarily. You need to see a glass panel lcd. The contrast makes a huge difference.

+ms isn't everything. The Dell 18" is spec'd at 30ms and looks as good or better than any 16ms panel I've seen.

Not true IMO. I am as particular as you get about LCDs and ghosting...hoarding my FD trintron/diamondtron superiority in both contrast and speed just search the threads and you'll see bagging on LCD's. however this one I played COD last night and zero ghosting and awesome contrast. I still think tubes have thier place..especially in 32million and professional graphics but this is as good as it gets and no ghosts.:)

Everyone on those reviews say the same....Can't say that for 191t either...Don't know about 192 or dell 2001 which has it's own problems with the backlight.

You seen this thread I'm sure..just want you to beware. That and screen as soft as talk turned me off. Sweet response time...if it's accurate.

I have the 192t and its great. I like it more then my Mitsu 2040u and Sony G520p.

25ms is still fine for gaming. Just was stating the actual spec since newegg seems to have it wrong. Got the spec from AG Neovo's website.
