Such a good feeling. Really been grinding since early summer to get rid of that thing. 17% interest can kiss me between the pockets.

Congrats OP. I kicked out 10 years of multi-thousand dollar debt a few years ago, and I am still in the black today. Greatest feeling in the world.

Now go pay off the car and real estate note.

Now with the money you are no longer paying toward the CC, may I suggest building up an emergency fund, or putting into a Car Fund account?

Congrats! I remember paying off my credit card debt after having it for years. It feels great.

Go buy a new tv or something and put it on your credit card to celebrate! :p

Congratulations! I know exactly how it feels because I did the same thing a few years ago.

Unfortunately I had a little amount of balance on my credit card accounts that I haven't paid off since last year. They're all 0% interest though until next year and I intend to pay everything off before the 0% period ends.

Good for you, OP. Debt = shackle and chain.

You need to do that every month beginning now. Pay off all CC's balance(s) in full before or on the due date = golden and good for your credit score too.

My credit cards go up $2000-3000 per month and down then next.

However, it looks like you just made a $400 payment on a $3k balance.

At 17%, I would have found another card/balance transfer.
