Last Wednesday at approximately 9:30PM the lights went out during the terrible ice storm that hit the mid west. Well after only 1 week I finally have power and internet back. Of course, we'll probably lose it all again this weekend with the expected storms.
 
WOW...I have lived in the midwest my entire life and have never gone that long without power. It might go out for a day or two, but even that has only happenned a couple times. Where in the midwest are you living? I take it that you are living in a small town.

Very small town located on the Indiana-Ohio border about 40 miles southwest of Fort Wayne, IN.
 
Just going without power for several hours sucks. I can't imagine what I would do without power for a whole week. Welcome back.
 
Sure makes you appreciate how nice power is, when you lose it.

Were you down to chopping up the furniture to burn, or did you just sit around in hats coats gloves and blankets and shiver at each other?
