It's Samsung.. from what I can tell they always make quality televisions.

Yup that's an awesome DLP, too bad I get rainbows from it. I'm returning mine today...:(
Gonna be stuck with a huge 55" Mitsubishi (rear projection crt) but at least I'm saving some cash.

If it's anything like Samsung older CRT tech, it's crap. While Samsung might make excellent LCD, DLP, and Plasma, their CRT was crap. Dynaflat= crap. The only good CRT Samsung produced was Trinitron based which is Sony's tech.

Damnit - I wish this thing were locally available now. My mother's 23-year-old Sony is dying, and this seems like an ideal replacement.
