A riser card would require that the AGP/PCI slots be oriented parallel to the motherboard though, at which point we'd basically have an LPX format, no? :(

*thinks of old Packard Bell Pentium60 and runs away*

Hey I think it would work fine. Put some holes above where the AGP Card would go and you would be set. Who wouldnt want a 9xxx along with a Audigy 2 or PCI TV-Tuner Card with them :p

The minuet looks like it has potential for the Silent Computing market. The metal stamping and placement of the passive vents reminds me of the Dell small form factor and small desktop cases. These might open the door for some passive Zalman Flower experimentation. I bet a Zalman flower cooler would passively cool a 2.0GHz Celeron 478, and a passively-cooled R9200 could be silent for graphics. Heck, the power supply might even be moddable for switching the fan to something like a Panaflo M1A or L1A, creating a single-fan system that would be inaudible. I don't know how the small internal space would affect a passive-P4-cooling attempt, though.

only one problem i see is if i stick a 7200 drive in there... it's a little disconcerning regarding heat.... or else this would be perfect for our family comp.

that and the power supply is a little weak if i wanted a barton 2500?

220 is plenty.

i have a similar case that has a 180 watt , and runs a 7200rpm drive and a barton 2500. works fine. i already have ordered a minuet though, it looks much nicer than anything else ive seen. antec really did a good job making this look nice.

I bought one in FS/FT for $140/shipped (w/200watt psu included).

It's in transit...I'll update when it arrives.
