Minuet anyone?

Are those full or low profile agp/pci slots on the rear?

And the fastet low profile video card is?

Why don't they make an AGP riser like they used to make PCI risers to get full hieght cards in these things?

It actually looks pretty good, but it's definitely not for the o/c crowd here.

Low profile slots, at least every expansion card I've seen is too tall for the Minuet (but then I haven't done a lot of looking at low profile stuff).

I have no idea about AGP riser cards.

Folks interested in a low-profile AGP card might want to head over to Newegg and take a close look at the pictures of the AOpen GeForce4MX 440's. They've got one with a low-profile bracket that still has VGA-out, TV-out and S-Video out, and another with DVI, VGA and S-Video, and the VGA is on a ribbon-cable. You can put the card's low-pro bracket on, then put the VGA header on a second low-pro bracket and put it in the next slot over: photos

Whatever happened to the Antec Fusion? Does Antec still plan on releasing that or is that scrapped?

I kinda like it as a "k3wl w4r3z d00d" case...slap a 250GB drive in that baby and a wirless card and have a portable FTP ;)

That would make a nice HTPC Case if only I could fit a TV-Tuner Card and a Audigy 2....

Great input mechBgon

That's probably the fastest low profile card I have seen.

Can anyone do better?

Is the 440mx going to be a lot faster than Nforce2 integrated graphics?

AntecCSR

I've never seen an AGP riser card, just the PCI riser cards. Think it would be great if someone would invent one but the bandwidth may preclude any bus expansion.

Also: No where on the Antec product page or the minuet documentation does it mention low profile cards.

yes it's obvious to an Atecher but you stand to disapoint a lot of the mainstream lets throw this thing together bestbuy crowd that Antec is trying to entice.

Little disclaimer: "Only PCI/AGP cards this high or shorter allowed on the ride" would help a lot.

Thanks again AntecCSR for all your support on these forums!

another great option is a Powercolor ATI Radeon 9200 with 128mb DDR 8x... I just bought one from AccuPC Low Profile ATI 9200 and love it. It is probably 15-20% faster than the Chaintech GF4MX440 64mb I had.
A slight move in the right direction for those of us that use SFF pc's!!

trikster2, here are some benchmarks that Anand did, comparing the onboard IGP (both single- and dual-channel) with a separate GF4MX 440 AGP card: link and the following page has some additional benchies.

That Radeon 9200 is looking like another contender

Darn two strikes for my MEDIA CENTER PC.....

1. Need full height for my Hauppauge PVR 250 card

2. I hate that the usb and audio are only in front!

We were figuring that people would read the dimensions (currently on the product flyer, the spec sheet still hasn't been completed. Also on the box) and figure out that if their expansion card is taller then the case that it won't fit.

Then again without checking an actual card I wouldn't know either.

Fusion: The folks in charge will be at the factory, to discuss the problems with it some more. Likely gone, but not totally dead yet. It's replacement is suppossedly still on track.

mechBgon: Your welcome.

Riser cables: Probably because no one thought of it.

> Accepts half height expansion cards

Just saw that on the minuet discription. Apologize if it was there and I missed it last time. If you added it, thanks!
