It has been almost 3 years now and I have finally gotten to 2000 Seti Work Units!! It seemed to take forever and just recently started going faster as Seti has finally seemed to have enough bandwidth, so I don't have to wait a day for another work unit.

Well, on to 3000....

Congrats on passing the 2K wu barrier cbuchach :D

Performance Hint: Use the command line client as it is much faster than the GUI ( screensaver program )
Together with SetiDriver to cache workunits ( so your computer never goes idle ) and
SetiSpy to give you all the interesting stuff about the wu you are analysing.

With your rig you should be able to get wu times around 6 - 7 hours :)
How to install seti command line client

I see your 1.2GHz Tbird is at 1265MHz:) ,what FSB is that on?105?
Thought about unlocking your cpu ,lowering your multiplier & raising the FSB? ,that makes a significant difference to SETI ;)

Assimilator-
Actually my tbird 1200 is at 141*9=1269 MHz. And unfortunately this is the highest I have been able to stabily overclock it. I have an Alpha PAL8045 with a Stealth fan on it (I want a quiet system) and good case colling. But, the processor just will not complete Prime95 for 24 hours over the current speed. Trust me I have spent many hours trying to get this thing higher, but I think it is just my luck that I got a poorly overclockable CPU.
I am hoping to upgrade in a few months to a Barton core Athlon, to more or less hold me over till I see if the Hammer is worth it, or to go with a new Pentium IV system in the future.

My times are around ~8 hours per work unit. I still use the screen saver mode which I know is slower but it works better for me (I do set to go to blank screen after like ten minutes). I have tried the other apps available for crunching work units, and they did prove to be faster, but they interfered with the synchronization of Outlook. Any app that uses 100% of the CPU cycles will cause Outlook to slow to a crawl during sync, even if the other app is set to the lowest priority. I have not found a work around for this and thus don't use any distributed computing clients that are active all the time.

That is a known problem with Outlook 2k when using the offline folders (I think thats right!) ,unfortunatly you are right ,there is no fix atm for it.Apparantly its due to Outlooks very low priority
