i'm making my final decision on my rig specs should be purchasing around the coming monday or tuesday.So far i'm come up with the base specs i have a few questions.
E6750
P35-DS3
8800GTS 640mb
1x2gb value ram
500 watt enermax liberty or 560watt Silverstone strider
320gb Sata 16mb
Samsung 226bw
i'm comtemplating whether or not to give up the 226bw for a cheaper monitor and up the GPU to a GTX.If so what monitor?hopefully a 20" or 22".I'm slightly more than a casual gamer and i'd like to max out my games(medieval 2 etc) with the native reso of whatever monitor i'm using.I know we're not going to be able to predict the performance of future games but i do intend to play games like hellgate and so on. Judging by these choices would it still be wise to forgo the 226 for the GTX.
Secondly,i'm going to leave most of it stock for now should i put aside some money for cooling?(i.e better fans,3rd party coolers)If so what particular items and what brands?(almost cluesless about cooling.)
Lastly Would that all fit into a CM5?if not what casing(s) should i consider?
I'm open to any advice concerning the specs and my questions.
