Why not just post this in your thread so people know the context?

Yes, 750W is enough. But for an expensive build like this I'd prefer to have the modularity and Gold efficiency of a HX750.

You might be able to get the Samsung 840 series 250g SSD @ microcenter for $149 with the cpu & mobo purchase.
 
No Good, relative to windows 7 for gaming and productivty. I read that there will be no service pack 2 for windows 7. Also have not read of any recomendations from you or mfenn to get windows 8, so just double checking before I place my order.

Windows 8 is good. Why wouldn't it be? There are lots of improvements under the hood and if you dislike the interface, there are third party solutions to get the start menu back.
 
7 all the way. Corporate will never move to 8 and 7 will continue to have a lifespan similar to what XP saw.

Follow what business does as they drive sales and software adoption, not consumer market.
 
I would do 8, simply because Microsoft will support it far into the future, the under the hold improvements are pretty nice, and the interface honestly isn't that bad. I moved to 8 and am perfectly happy.
 
The 840 is fine for most people. But, it just has less warranty than the Plextor, and that's still magnitudes faster than a HDD. I bet if I put a PC with a Samsung Pro and a PC with the Plextor in front of you, you couldn't tell the difference. It isn't even that far off on the Benchmark you showed (sometimes within the margin of error), and the conclusion even states that it's a good all-round SSD. I believe Plextor has also released a new firmware since then which improves the controller.

I think Windows 8 kind of sucks. It's under the hood optimizations are minor enough that they're not worth putting up with the horrendous, backwards-moving interface IMHO. If I have a task that requires a real OS, I'm running Linux anyway.

As for the SSD, the M5S is perfectly good. A few tens of MB/s worth of sequential performance is not noticeable. A reliable controller with a 5 year warranty is.

Glad it worked out for you! This forum doesn't allow direct attachment of images, you have to upload it somewhere else and link it. Try imgur.com for something quick and easy.
