Regardless of who wins, I think the electoral college is an outdated concept. I think they should at least do like colorado and allow splitting.
I mean, look at North Carolina, for example. It's probably 55% red, 45% blue. Yet Bush will get all the votes. Same with California - about 60% blue, 40% red, but Kerry will get all the votes. I think if they split the votes, not only would the country be better represented, but people who are not in the majority in their state would have more reason to vote as they could still make a difference in whether or not their candidate wins...
