the problem with 49.4% is daddy's 5-4 supreme court will pull a reversal and declare fore president for the past 4 years and bush would get the next 4 year. likewise gore would get the retroactive blame for iraq and shrub would get a new start

No they wont.

But I bet you wish they would so you could flame the hell out of them. 🙂

haha.. it would be funny to have another situation where Kerry wins by electoral college and loses the popular vote. KARMA!

Then what would the whiny liberals who said the electoral college should be done away with say?

The same thing: the Electoral College needs to be revamped or gotten rid of.

Regardless of who wins, I think the electoral college is an outdated concept. I think they should at least do like colorado and allow splitting.

I mean, look at North Carolina, for example. It's probably 55% red, 45% blue. Yet Bush will get all the votes. Same with California - about 60% blue, 40% red, but Kerry will get all the votes. I think if they split the votes, not only would the country be better represented, but people who are not in the majority in their state would have more reason to vote as they could still make a difference in whether or not their candidate wins...

You might, but the way tuxdave was talking, he would have been grateful if Kerry won by the electoral college. Admit, if Kerry lost the popular vote but won the electoral college this year, you wouldn't be so against it...

And even better than the Zogby polls....

"OMG THE PACKERS WON.

KERRY WILL BE PRESIDENT.

ITS BEEN THAT WAY FOR 70 YEARS.!!!1111one!!!juan!!111"

IMHO, the Democrats actually frightened voters into not being honest with the pollsters as well as the exit polling done today.

They were so aggressive I was just getting pissed off & tired of being beaten about the head & neck.

The whole anarchist/democrat BS just didn't work.
