Doing my taxes today with Turbo Tax and if I say I got the $300 check my taxes go up ~$100.

I figure Im still ahead $200 but the $300 wasnt entirely free.

Know a lot of others debated this point but I feel no matter what they call it, say about it, massage it or spin it, this is the real world case!

Still ahead if they hadnt done it.
 
turbo tax added a true $300 for me...i was raound 600, my total return was $920...got it 2 days ago too 🙂

If you didnt get the check before for 300 and are getting it now in full, Id say you are ahead of those of us who got a few months ago. Maybe they will catch you next year but I doubt that.

Congrats, now start an IRA with that refund if you dont already have one.
