Hey here's my final rig idea any suggestions would be great.

Opteron 165
Corsair xms ddr400 (2x1 gig)
xfx geforce 4 7800gt pci-e
lian-li pc-60b plus
enermax libery 500W psu
DFI LanParty UT nF4 Ultra-D

clamps
Eheim 1250 pump
apogee cpu waterblock
maze4 gpu block
tubing
blackiceII pro radiator
radgrillz

also if any of you know how many clamps and tube size i need and feet of tubing would be great :)

also a good 2.1 system becuase i dont' want a HUGE 5.1 system and i don't want to go deaf from hedset over my head all the time (i'm on my comp a lot)
or a nice 5.1 system that isn't tooooo expensive.

Corsair + DFI = no-no.

I'd only run OCZ, Mushkin, or G.Skill in a DFI rig.

Edit: Don't buy the Apogee - there's nothing good about it. Get the MC6002-64 or Storm. You could just use a Chevette heatercore for your rad. I'd get a better pump, like the 50Z.

why (atybimf) dfi + corsiar no no?? which brand o you suggest highly.. or any of those brands.

2) i heard about the apogee not being that great i'll maybe go with storm
3) why use a chevette heatercore instead of my rad and what is a heatercore (first WC build)

btw. unless there was a extreme reason 2 witch radiator or other wc parts besides the CPU block to a storm as you had suggested possibly i probably wo'nt becuase if i do i'll just wonder am i making right choice BLAH BLAH and go OCD and never build my system... it happens to me... so if there is a EXTREMMMMME reason to change or a very very iomportant one then tell me otherwise i probably won't and you'll just worry me :) ) not trying to sound rude or arogant (or w/e the word would be) since i'm asking for the advice.

Im a fan of evga cards. Lifetime waranty no matter how high you overclock them. And lifetime means your lifetime and not the period of time the card is for sale.

id get the ocz golds, muskin redlines, or gksill's. Id opt for the swifty storm also since a new revision is out. If you go with the storm you will need a higher flow pump to take advanatge of this block. Tubing depends on your case but go with 1/2 in and some heavy duty clamps from home depot/ lowes/ ace hardware. I would actually change the psu unit as well if you are planning on overclocking and watercool at the same time with that video card. An ocz 520 powerstream would be perfect.

Looks good, the 7800GT is a real nice card, but i highly suggest Danger Den wc'ing equipment.

I just mentioned the heater core because it's easy, and much cheaper. Since this is your first time WC'ing, it's probably good if you stuck with a WC rad. Personally, I'd get Mushkin because I have that in my own DFI rig and love it :D.

im currently using a chevette heater core (got it from danger den) its big, but cools real well, it also came with barbs preinstalled, so hooking it up was no problem.

Later bioses by DFI took care of the issue so it seems, since I'm using corsair ram with my dfi ultra-d :).
