I still don't get the point.
I'll buy it if it has good games, but until I see some game reviews, it just looks like a gimic.

Same. Where are the games!
Do you really think there will be any shortage of games for it? Not to mention it will play GBA games. As for the launch line-up, all we know for certain is that "more than 120 Nintendo DS games [are] in development" with more than 100 companies signed up, and that "Nintendo alone is developing more than 20 titles."

1) Why wouldn't anyone want more screen real estate? Think of all the times in Zelda you have to pull up your inventory. All the times in Metroid you have to pull up a map. How about a nice rearview in Mario Kart?
I'm not going to play a game by constantly tapping on a touchscreen with a stylus (cough metroid)Originally posted by: werk

Interesting how hte original game boy lasted about 10 years with out a real replacement. Then in the last 4 years there has been the GB color, GB advance and GB ADV SP. now we're up to GB DS. I wonder how long this thing will be around.

Considering the fact that I don't own an SP, but the DS will play all GB, GBC, GBA games, and only costs $50 more than an SP................plus the graphics kick a$$ in Metroid DS............I'm buying.

Gee, you mean like EVERY NINTENDO GAME EVER MADE? Every frickin game is either Mario, Zelda, Metroid, or some other Mario/Yoshi/Mushroom crap.
