Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings

Gameplay is kinda like a cross between a RTS game and Tactics, not sure I'm digging it too much but I'm only like 5% in. I bought it off Ebay, the guy that sold it left his save game on there only 13% through, and his reason for selling it was something along the lines of not liking the style of play. Anyone else have any thoughts? The "rock, paper, scissors" relationship between melee, ranged, and flying units is kinda odd as well.

Based on your description, it sounds kind of like the weapon triangle and magic triangle system in the Fire Emblem games. Lance>Sword>Axe>Lance, et cetera.

Yggdra Union had a similar system. Axe>Lance>Sword>Axe...which happens to be the same triangle that ShotgunSteven mentioned. There were other weapon types as well, such as magic, monster, ranged, etc...

I heard that the system for Revenant Wings was different, but still solid. However, the game still seems to be a little underwhelming. I haven't played it, though, so this is all just heresay.

The game says I'm about 20% through it with about 3 hours played, so 15hrs for a FF game? weak... I guess I'll finish it up and pawn it off in FS/FT or ebay
