ok, first off i stop in the store to make the purchase for the ps2 but findout it only comes with the hardrive and the game. I dont have the network card on my PS2. I DO have the PS2 linux kit. The linux kit comes with a hardrive and a network card that hooks into the back of the hardrive. The network adapter came with the ps2 kit but it connects to the hardrive by what looks like a power molex connector, ide connector and somthing that looks like a small SCSI connector. can i just by the game and use this network adapter or is the retail one all different.
BTW - the lunix kit comes with NO software for the network adapter like the retail version does. is there any specific software that comes with the FFXI kit?
