damn it, just got it through CC, came out to about 40 dollars. now i just gotta finish ff x-2

Yes, you can walk into Circuit City and just grab one. You can probably print off the web page and show up darn near anywhere else and get a price match also.
 
Walked into Best Buy today, asked if they matched CC's price; the customer service girl whipped out the CC ad, found the game, and rang me up.

In other words, it's only 37.99 at BB this week if you ask for the price check.
 
$37.99 for this game is definitely a hot deal - I just picked it up at a CC B&M here in Manhattan. I almost went with the GS/EB Collector's Edition exclusive but I just couldn't justify the extra 22 bucks for a steel case and a DVD of art I'd probably only look at once.
 
Yup, checking out is busted. Not sure if it applies to all items, but perhaps just this one.

FF X-2!! Nooo! I stopped playing after about 10 hours into it. This is approxiamtely 1.4233 million times better. Seriously, I played it so much over the weekend I dreamt about it. Seriously.

For anyone not noticing it stocked in the stores, go ask customer service. In my area they had them all back there for some reason... Probably so people would think they were all gone and they would "magically" appear next week.

I really doubt it... First and last Final Fantasy ported to PC are FFVII and FFVIII. That was way back when 3DFX was king, and the game needed glide acceleration to play smoothly. FFXI doesn't really count, since it's mulitplayer, also ported to Xbox 360.

If you don't have a PS2, you're missing out on a lot of great games. I liked FFX a lot. Haven't played FFX-2 yet. There's a slick silver special edition PStwo on sale right now. Also a pink one in Europe.

It was the same way at the store that I went to (Concord Mills location in the Charlotte area). I walked in and was looking in the PS2 area and one of the sales associates comes up and asks me if I'm looking for FF12. I told him yes and he went to the back to get one for me 😕
 
you don't really need to buy this at circuit city. i printed out the ad and took it to best buy (who has it in stock). they price matched it and beat the CC price. It's their store policy, so this should be the same for all BB stores. Only problem is, in their policy, it says it doesn't apply to items that are OOS. But this can easily be resolved...

i bought mine yesterday with no problems. 3 hours into it and im liking this a lot.
