With your kinda budget, I would make getting an OCZ Powerstream PSU a requirement. (I would opt for the a 470+ wattage psu)
 
Insolence, I recently got a K8V SE Deluxe with a 74 raptor [SATA] And it just wouldnt read the driver after I installed them [For anyone feeling like flaming me, I tried all 4 slots, and tested each driver for each slot, it would never read it]

I know plenty of people have had this problem.. just a thought

[I've had to go to 2 IDE drives :-\
