7025-010 K8N Neo2 Platinum S939 nVidia nForce 3 Ultra chi
2x51mb 2 ddr400 pc3200
Seagate 80 GB 7200 RPM 8MB SATA
NEC ND3520

i'm re using my video card since i won't be playing any video games same with cd and floppy, mouse and monitor. Should i go with the s754 i wanna choose a cpu that i can upgrade as i get some more $? any ideas

I've had that burner for about a week. I've burned about 60 DVDs without a problem. I burned 90 CDs and only had 3 coasters, but my media isn't so great, so I think that's a contributing factor.

I think that's a fine choice for the other stuff.

Do you know what kind of ram you're getting? I think Corsair Value Select is only $85 shipped right now at chiefvalue.

It's american.

If you don't want to go with an Antec PSU/case combo, Seasonic is just what you're looking for.

eWiz.com has some great deals right now.
a 380watt would handle that system just fine.
If you want something more, 430watt is $78 and a 600watt (which would be total overkill) is $130.

review of the 430

Sell the AGP card and go with a PCIe motherboard.

If you can't afford a good PCIe card now, buy MSI RS480M2-IL with integrated graphics and buy the video card later, when you can afford it.
If you do not game IG is plenty enough. But you still have a PCIe slot and an option to upgrade later.

The downside is no OCing.

I was thinking about the same MB and Processor setup because I just bought a ATI 9800 Pro a few months ago. I've been told while PCI-E is the future APG cards still have life. I wouldn't worry about going to PCI-E right now since you can still get most GPU's in APG as well as PCI-E.
