First let me say this forum has been A HUGE help to me. I have gotten a lot of good advise.

Here is what I think is my list of part that I am going to order in a few days for my new system. I will mainly be using it for RAW and Photoshop work with some gaming, and I do not plan to OC. I had a budget around $500, I obviously went past that. What do you think? Can I improve on this w/o spending more money? Could I spend less money? Will this be a decent machine for gaming?

Looks good. Have you checked Monarch, zipzoomfly and chiefvalue (newegg sister site) for the lowest price on each part?

Very nice choices indeed...I really like everything especially the choice in case and PSU. I would have to object on one thing particular though, I would go with this CPU instead

venice is a way better overclocker (just in case you feel the urge, which you will), it adds the SSE3 instruction set, it allows yoou to run 4 dimms in ddr400 mode (with the winchester you had to use ddr333), and it is newer. and newer=better.

otherwise, everything looks really great.
