Hey everyone,

Thanks to all of your help I think I'm ready for my first build and first OC (figure if I'm going to do it, might as well go all the way).

So here it is, I'm about to purchase this bad boy. I already own these two pieces and can't change them:

COOLER MASTER Centurion 532 RC-532-SKN1
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS SB0350

Looking to buy:

ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT ATX12V 500W Power Supply

DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D ATX AMD Motherboard

AMD Opteron 165 Dual-Core 1.8GHz 1MB

Western Digital 3.0Gbps 250GB 7200RPM 16MB Caviar SE16

eVGA 256-P2-N563-AX Geforce 7900GT 256MB GDDR3

G.SKILL Extreme Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM

NEC Black IDE DVD Burner Model ND-3550A

Akasa 120mm Amber Series for rear exhaust

Any changes that would make it OC better without costing more???

Switch the NEC 3550 to the BenQ DW1650, & it'll OC much better ;)

I'd switch out the power supply.... the Enermax Liberty 500W is 100 dollars... the Enhance 600W [Strider OEM PSU] modular/etc. PSU is 100 bucks... with 500W on the 12V rail alone. [More than enough for anything you'll ever need, and higher quality than the Liberty.]
[It's actually a 650W PSU--they took the rating down a bit to account for the modularity].

Look around, you'll find it ;)

Everything looks good to me except for the western digital. I would go with seagate, but thats more personal preference.
