Your list looks OK unless you want more "future-proofing",

in which case you want to consider AMD socket 929 system,

using mobos such as the ASUS A8N-E or maybe the ASUS A8N-SLI.

I agree with those above. The 754 taps out at 3700+ and will be the future budget line for Sempron's etc. If you can, I would go for a 939 board. However, if you are keeping this system for 2 years or longer before any modifications or upgrades etc. than the 754 board should be fine because you would probably do a full upgrade anyway.

Most future proof in order
939 PCI-ex (all future graphics cards but have to invest in a pci-ex graphics card
939 AGP (I believe the next generation video cards from Nvidia and ATI may have an AGP variant via bridge chip but it will probably be more expensive)
754 AGP (They may make a pci-ex 754 board but I haven't found one yet though I haven't looked to hard)

Socket 462 LOL

I already have a 128mb radeon 9800pro.

Also,I don't think I will upgrade the mb and not the cpu,in the next jump I should be doing the cpu+mb+ram.

939 sli is not in my budget

939agp in my budget won't perform as well for games at stock speeds.

Ditch the soundcard, you can live with the onboard sound and upgrade later if its important.

Get a DVD burner instead of the CDRW with the money saved on the Sound Card.
