Oklahoma too.

And OP UTES got robbed. I hope the other 123 Div 1 schools are successful in their anti-trst case.

I don't know if this is worse than Marbury's bitching landing him a spot on the Celts, but it feels like a damn close second. There's no way Utah is better than USC, period.

Probably not, but it'd be cool to at least see a game between the two teams. The thing that pisses me off most about the BCS is we RARELY see any of the matchups the audiences want to see. This is where we really see the hypotheticals go specifically crazy about USC...when will we see them play Florida, OK, LSU, Utah, Alabama, etc? There are far too many matchups that are necessary and the BCS simply doesn't deliver on that note.

and once again ohio state gtfo.

Yeah, I can't even imagine how much money is being lost for the schools, networks, and BCS by not delivering some of these marquee matchups.

I really hate that I've had to be that SC fanboy the past 24 hours but I think it's absolutely ridiculous to rank Utah higher than them when it seems fairly clear that overall SC is a better team. What sucks even more is that I can legitimately hold this opinion even when one team is 13-0 and the other is 12-1 because in this fucked up system there's so much room for debate.

I'll have to agree that USC should have been playing in the NCG; and that USC is probably, most likely, almost definitely better than Utah.

You never know until they play the game. (john madden obvious, right?) I'm sure Alabama fans thought the same before UTAH make them look like high schoolers.

I hate BCS - No playoffs as taken the Best game on the planet, college football, and made damn near unwatchable at seasons end for me.

Probably not. Just like there is no way that Oregon State is better than USC, but guess what? They beat them!

UTEP? University of Texas El Paso? This is the second thread where you have said UTEP instead of Utah or Utes.

Which means it probably wouldn't happen to the next 'big time' team Utah faced. Alabama came from playing for the national title to playing........ Utah. No win situation much like Oklahoma a few years ago. With that being said, Utah deserves every bit of the #2 ranking they've earned this year. However, if we had a playoff who knows how the Bama/Utah game would have turned out. Mentalities changes on both sides then.

"... according to Sagarin and CollegeBCS.com, Utah played by far the easiest schedule of any of the national championship contenders. It's hard to register on national radars when you're beating up on UNLV, Utah State, Air Force, Weber State, Wyoming, Colorado State, New Mexico and San Diego State."

That's a pretty idiotic statement considering they are 4-3 overall in BCS games whereas other notable teams fair worse. For example, Oklahoma is 2-5, Florida State is 1-5, Alabama is 0-2, Notre Dame is 0-3, VT is 1-3, and so on. They had two bad games and lost to Texas this year on a last minute touchdown.
