I like Filter, but I definately have to vote for Tool seeing that they're one of my favorite bands. As far as their lyrics being dark and evil, I don't see it. Listen to some Danzig for dark and evil. (note that I'm also a big Danzig fan)

i can't believe this..tool only has 5 votes? wtf? even if you don't like them, you have to admit the complex structure/composition of their songs is pretty amazing---similiar to rush in some respects (although I hate rush--but still feel they're extremely talented as well).

I've been following this. Tool actually has received a few hundred votes all along. The poll allows the author to edit them. I'm not about to get technical because I can't encourage this madness to continue, but it's very easy to figure out how it's done.

oh my god guys... tool only has two of the most talented hard rock musicians currently alive... Danny Carey and Maynard James Keenan. Keenan is easily the best, most dynamic and most powerful vocalist in the genre right now. Tool has three times the talent that Filter has. You gotta believe Tool is the best band, and if you haven't listened to all the albums from both bands, you shouldn't be voting.
