Film Scanners

[Sniper]

Can anybody recommend a good film/slide scanner? Looking at the $500 price range. Have looked at the HP S20xi and the Minolta Dimage Scan Dual II. Can't find many reviews on the web.

dunno about those 2 you mentioned but i use a Nikon CoolScan III at school and it is great...very nice scanner. Unfortunately i think it costs on the order of 1200-2000 bucks. but man is it worth it...
