Fillport substitute?

I ordered a Danger Den Fillport and they sent me the wrong size. 🙁

Are there any substitutes for this that I can buy at a hardware store's plubing section or a fish tank supply store?

alot of people, including myself...dont even use one.

i just have a piece of tubing that goes up from the t-line....and thats it...a vertical piece of tubing. i stick a funnel there to fill...and when im done, i plug it up.

i have a custom piece of machined plexiglass to plug it up...ghetto style people use a AA battery (in 1/2 inch ID tubing)

Just don't use the fillport. just plug it with something to keep the liquid from spilling. you probably won't be filling and emptying you coolant to need something fancy like a fillport.

If the liquid came in contact with the battery, would that make it really acidic and corrosive?

....I just JAMMED the fillport with a 1/2" barb into a 3/8" ID tubing. It wasn't easy, but it worked. 😛

just dont have it touch the battery...EZ 😉

for example...have the t-line fill tube 75 percent filled or something

You can buy a converter that would install between your T and the fillport. What it does is change from 1/2 inch ID to 3/8 inch, which I assume is your problem. You can find it here.
