Aged, large, wrapped with bacon, medium rare, grilled to perfection, and a dab of pure horseradish on the side. Anyone else like this? 😀

Change that "medium rare" to "medium well", and I'm SO there..

(come to think of it, I've got a few filets in the freezer, and a George Foreman grill that needs a workout.. Hmm..)

Medium rare on an open grill, no bacon and lightly dusted with Lawry's seasoning salt is my idea of perfection.

That's funny- I have been working mad hours until yesterday. In celebration of a few days off, I am having a few filets and grilled lobster. Heaven knows I earned it this week. Wonder if I should post pics. Naa too cruel 😉

Yes you should using your new Canon A40 digicam which you got a killer deal on 😀

yep bacon wrapped filet mignon... mmmm... you can get 6 good sized filets at Costco for about $25 so it's not too bad, but it's all relative 😉

good..tbone or even sirloin grilled yourself better

Try a Porter house. It's like a T-bone, but much better. 🙂

That's because the filet is part of the Porterhouse steak.

Tenderloin/Filet on one side of the bone, and a striploin on the other.

They are the best on a open charcoal grill.
Very hard to find.
You must have perfect timing at the local grocery to get a pack of 3 for $16.00.
