All of them, because they have no bearing on reality.

I mean just how delusional would someone have to be in order to believe that nonsense? Nobody's that crazy or naive, right?

I don't understand why people even given Cheney the time. I mean, I do, since you have some people who believe the same crap that he spews, but it is just so ridiculous.

The neocons believe in peace through war. This Orwellian stance on things is exactly why we should never let them have power again.

A former CEO of Halliburton Oil services company?

Edit: Never mind, he never been a president himself.

he had the better position.

1. Find a patsy who has a good name and a small brain to be president. he needs charisma for the right kind of people.

2. Make yourself his right hand man and look for a vp

3. Make yourself the vp. This is your first test on how much control you have over your patsy. If he says no you pull support if he says yes you are in.

4. surround the patsy with all of your yes men and tell him what you need to get the $$$$ flowing.

5. Engage in war for profit and scare tactics to shape the population (color coded terror warnings anyone?)

6. When things fall apart the patsy is standing there in history as the garbage.

For such kind of persons, the presidency is considered the least favorable position as it would only pose too much restrictions for them.

This, to a tee.

When you are trying to get 1 trillion in profits for your industry you need to make bold moves.

Bush/Cheney won the White House two times in a row. "Nobody's that crazy or naive, right?" Two fucking terms they won the White House. One could argue that the GOP cheated (Carl Rove,) but regardless, they were voted in, so yes, there are a MAJORITY of crazy naive people that watch Fox News all fucking day and take Fox at their word.

I think this is mostly the Babyboomer generation and older, because all they had for news, when TVs were invented, was CBS, ABC, and NBC. PBS for some, but that was it besides the newspaper. Trust in the government was paramount and the thought that the evening news and newspapers lie was out of the question. Their kids (me for example) have had the Internet of information sources and have learned that they do lie to advance their strategy to post higher profits, blah, blah, blah.

IMO, until that generation dies off, the GOP will always have an audience, but the next generation to you 18-30-year-olds are not crazy, naive, and so forth. It's that generation that will change our government and change the world.

They make new old people every day.

Hah, there are plenty of potential "crazy" GOP kids. They just have to start paying taxes first. They realize they're voting for the GOP at a local level and wonder what happened to them. Slowly it consumes them until they're voting for G.W. Hitler III.

I think that's a challenge Boomerang is willing to accept... And from his posting history blow well past the metric of crazy you set.

I'm a Babyboomer, and I disagree.

Is more ignorance in general I think, from a lot of what I see on a daily basis.

It seems to be getting worse again IMHO.

My Grandfather had 5 Bronze Stars from WWII, and he hated Bush/Cheney.

Common Sense has left the room.

It totally depends on which baby boomer you talk too. Some are chill, many are not.

I still agree with the sentiment that it is more your generation than ours that is the problem. Yours will be the last few remaining pylons to hold before the collapse of the R party.

Cheney nicely summed up Obama's world view.

The USA has less influence in the world now, then it did before.

More allies are afraid of us abandoning them (ie throwing Israel under the bus while bowing to Iran's demands). S.A. afraid of the new US friendliness working to expand its own military power.

Having Zero reponse to China taking over influence, and destabilizing the east. (Japan is now starting to grow its military in responses to Chinas growing spending)

The reset with Russia that is leading to Cold War 2.0.

The only ones delusional are lib's that believe Obama

The USA has less influence in the world now, then it did before. Thanks to invading Iraq and giving Iran a huge boost, I'm thinking this one goes to Dubya. We're also forgetting the withdrawal agreement was agreed to under Dubya, it just happened under Obama

More allies are afraid of us abandoning them (ie throwing Israel under the bus while bowing to Iran's demands). S.A. afraid of the new US friendliness working to expand its own military power. No idea how we've thrown Israel under the bus, then again, I've always found the massive pandering politicians do towards Israel to be a joke, so I guess Obama's wasn't quite enough for some. As for Saudi Arabia, their fears are continued growing strength of Iran, which again, goes back to Bush going into Iraq in the first place. And Saudi Arabia should use its military. Why do we have to go in? They have one of the largest military budgets in the world -- use the fucking thing

Having Zero reponse to China taking over influence, and destabilizing the east. (Japan is now starting to grow its military in responses to Chinas growing spending) Yeah, their big increase is basically enough to buy a few of the shit F-35 that are costing us over $300b and counting

The reset with Russia that is leading to Cold War 2.0. True, since Bush only saw goodness when he looked into Putin's eyes..... All we really can do is continue to support the rest of Europe and sanction Russia. I mean seriously, what else do you expect Obama to do here?

Cheney is a sociopath and a war criminal.

In your delusional reality, what he said is all true.

Here in observable reality, most of our allies don't treat Israel with a fraction of the deference with which we treat them. I can assure you they aren't upset at us not being a pawn for Israel.

Here in observable reality, our staunchest allies took part in dealing with Iran with us (I know, I know, this doesn't fit in with Master Limbaugh's talking points, but it's called reality)

And here in observable reality, Saudi Arabia is the biggest state sponsor of terrorism, having created ISIS and instability in the middle east in places like Yemen, because it's their backyard. Of course, the fact that Obama doesn't walk around holding a Saudi prince's hand like your personal hero BushII means we've "abandoned" them.

Japan has been "growing" its military since 1945, whether you want to call it a defense force or not, and last I checked we still have 50,000 troops in Japan, another 25,000 in S. Korea, and have defense agreements with Taiwan.

But of course, we aren't screaming and acting like idiots like you think is appropriate in China's back yard, so of course we're now weak.

I guess in your delusional reality, there is still a S̶o̶v̶i̶e̶t̶ Russian ICBM missile gap and we just don't scary scare-scare the Russians anymore, since we haven't launched a war in the Ukraine.

All you have is delusions and fear. Doesn't it get tired being afraid of the entire world comin' to take away your freedom? Because here in observable reality, Obama hasn't led to the destruction of the US and the rise of UberRussia9.0™. Then again, maybe you're only happy when we're in the middle of land wars and losing a dozen soldiers a day. Who knows what it's like in there, and boy am I glad the majority of us aren't trapped in there with you. Seek help.

Cheney didn't sum up anything - he just blew a dog whistle & you came running.

Take America down... from where? From twisted Neocon dreams of world domination by military means? From two trumped up fruitless wars in pursuit of those dreams? From near economic collapse on account of right wing ideology about deregulated banking? From plutocratic inequality? From doubling the national debt in 8 years?

Ah, I remember it like it was yesterday, when Cheney told us he was going to be "Strenously Right Sizing" the company.

How's that for Orwellian language. 😛
