1. Find a patsy who has a good name and a small brain to be president. he needs charisma for the right kind of people.

2. Make yourself his right hand man and look for a vp

3. Make yourself the vp. This is your first test on how much control you have over your patsy. If he says no you pull support if he says yes you are in.

4. surround the patsy with all of your yes men and tell him what you need to get the $$$$ flowing.

5. Engage in war for profit and scare tactics to shape the population (color coded terror warnings anyone?)

6. When things fall apart the patsy is standing there in history as the garbage.

For such kind of persons, the presidency is considered the least favorable position as it would only pose too much restrictions for them.

Bush/Cheney won the White House two times in a row. "Nobody's that crazy or naive, right?" Two fucking terms they won the White House. One could argue that the GOP cheated (Carl Rove,) but regardless, they were voted in, so yes, there are a MAJORITY of crazy naive people that watch Fox News all fucking day and take Fox at their word.

I think this is mostly the Babyboomer generation and older, because all they had for news, when TVs were invented, was CBS, ABC, and NBC. PBS for some, but that was it besides the newspaper. Trust in the government was paramount and the thought that the evening news and newspapers lie was out of the question. Their kids (me for example) have had the Internet of information sources and have learned that they do lie to advance their strategy to post higher profits, blah, blah, blah.

IMO, until that generation dies off, the GOP will always have an audience, but the next generation to you 18-30-year-olds are not crazy, naive, and so forth. It's that generation that will change our government and change the world.

Hah, there are plenty of potential "crazy" GOP kids. They just have to start paying taxes first. They realize they're voting for the GOP at a local level and wonder what happened to them. Slowly it consumes them until they're voting for G.W. Hitler III.

Is more ignorance in general I think, from a lot of what I see on a daily basis.

It seems to be getting worse again IMHO.

My Grandfather had 5 Bronze Stars from WWII, and he hated Bush/Cheney.

Common Sense has left the room.

The USA has less influence in the world now, then it did before.

More allies are afraid of us abandoning them (ie throwing Israel under the bus while bowing to Iran's demands). S.A. afraid of the new US friendliness working to expand its own military power.

Having Zero reponse to China taking over influence, and destabilizing the east. (Japan is now starting to grow its military in responses to Chinas growing spending)

The reset with Russia that is leading to Cold War 2.0.

Here in observable reality, most of our allies don't treat Israel with a fraction of the deference with which we treat them. I can assure you they aren't upset at us not being a pawn for Israel.

Here in observable reality, our staunchest allies took part in dealing with Iran with us (I know, I know, this doesn't fit in with Master Limbaugh's talking points, but it's called reality)

And here in observable reality, Saudi Arabia is the biggest state sponsor of terrorism, having created ISIS and instability in the middle east in places like Yemen, because it's their backyard. Of course, the fact that Obama doesn't walk around holding a Saudi prince's hand like your personal hero BushII means we've "abandoned" them.

Japan has been "growing" its military since 1945, whether you want to call it a defense force or not, and last I checked we still have 50,000 troops in Japan, another 25,000 in S. Korea, and have defense agreements with Taiwan.

But of course, we aren't screaming and acting like idiots like you think is appropriate in China's back yard, so of course we're now weak.

I guess in your delusional reality, there is still a S̶o̶v̶i̶e̶t̶ Russian ICBM missile gap and we just don't scary scare-scare the Russians anymore, since we haven't launched a war in the Ukraine.
