Files or Folders shorcut in XP SP1 won't load at all

Greetings.

Since the whole summer, I have used WinXP SP1 and never encountered a single problem until last week.

"Files Or Folders" shorcut (from Windows itself) won't load at all. I have tryied many possibilities already by trying to fix this issue but I was unsuccessful.

Help please.

Ok, when I click on : Start, Search, "For Files or Folders" button, the window doesn't come up. Explorer.exe freezes like 1 min before it gets back to normal and still I can't see the window.

I'm using Windows XP SP1 (and yes I have more than the recommended processor to use since it is the "only" window who doesn't appear).

Can you help ?

what if u right click my computer, and then click on search. Same sh-t?

It doesn't work nowhere. Even when I press the window icon from keyboard + F.
