It looks like the error occurs after the fah.exe is running and a WU is downloaded. I wonder if the four core exe's are starting and can't communicate with each other.

Are you running under an Administrator account with a password?

And did you register "mpiexec.exe" and "smpd.exe" services under that account?

I'm pretty sure I have Framework and all that stuff downloaded.

Gleem I dunno what you are saying about registering them, I do use the Admin account with a password and I ran Install.bat under that account.

I get File IO Errors every so often. I fix it by restarting the client. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries, but you pretty much just have to be sure that mpiexec and the FAH cores are no longer in the task manager.

Ok I've given up on this SMP client, I'm just gonna run 2 FAH clients. I'll get back to the SMP when it comes out of Beta and alot of these bugs are gone. It is just giving me too much trouble, I actually got a WU started and then the client crashed.

Thanks for trying to help
