I have been running my computer with a FSB speed of 143. It seemed to work fine, but every once in a while a program would stop working. Eventually, after about the third program that stopped working, I ran a virus program. The program caused my computer to lock up (two times), and then quit working. I did an internet virus scan, and it found nothing. When I looked at my program files folder, a lot of the folder names contained within were named with odd characters and not accessable. I did a scandisk, and it put a ton of directories names 0001, 0002, etc in the program files folder. Was this caused by running the FSB too fast for the memory, HD controller, or something else? Has anybody else has any similar problems?
