I deleted some pics off of my digital camara (compact flash card) a few months back. I've read about software that I can use to restore the deleted files. Any recommendations or links to free ware would be great.
 
Saw your post in OT:

I don't have links ATM, but I had a corrupt SD card and tried:
SanDisk RescuePro
PC Tools File Recover
LC Technology Photorecovery

None could recover my photos, but maybe you'll have better luck.
 
I use FileScavanger.
Its worth every penny. The demo lets you look at files but I dont think it recovers them.

I remember when Windows was giving me all kinds of grief with a drive I thought was toast. Wouldnt even let me look at it the Computer Management tool.

For some reason, FileScavanger was able to find the drive and let me pull files off.
