Over the years, I've made hundreds of CD's and DVD's backing up various parts of my work and system, and as many of you have done, I've upgraded and bought a lot of new systems in the process. I've got stacks and stacks of CD's and DVD's laying around with all manner of files on them, and I really want to catalog the contents of all these discs on my current machine, so that if I need anything from my history of discs, I can find it easily.

At work we use a program called CDFinder (Mac only), and I was wondering if anyone here knew of any software like that for Windows, or maybe even something better? I'd like to stick to a free solution if possible, but if the software works well enough, I'm open to spending some money on it.

So... anyone have any recommendations for me? Thanks!

Optitracker is nice, it comes with the Imation Stakka, which is a 100 disc storage unit for discs. MY GF has one and the program is very good for cataloging discs. I know the pro version is free, but the normal version might be free.
