I have staroffice 5.2 I must have done something while in it. suddenly all of my shortcuts on my desktop have staroffice icons and they open in staroffice.How can I get them back to IE icons so that they open in IE? thanks

install Tweak UI
within the program there is a tab called repair.. you can try to repair your icons and shortcuts from there...
i had this happened to me before and this program saved my a$$ 😉
 
thanks. I downloaded the program, but when I try to install it I am asked to insert the tweak ui disk.
 
huh??

it didn't ask me that.. after you downloaded and extracted.. you right click on the tweakui.ini and click install and that should be it.. and then you go to control panel to find tweak ui icon
 
Ya, it does that. The installer originally came on a CD. Just decompress the files to a new folder on your desktop and point the installer to the right directory. It'll work.
