A lot of people are gonna have to revise their premature discounting of AMD's ability to bring competition and also take the performance crown.

"4GB is an issue... but we have something for that."

Say hello to dual-link interposer, the result of a unique collaboration with Hynix.

A great mis-information campaign by AMD again. Seeding multiple AIBs with different presentations & leaks.

Also, re-designed Hawaii -> Grenada with HBM on GloFo, 20% above 980 at 200W... wait, where did we see that again? Hmm.

This was also leaked by a distributor on ChipHell:

R9 380 4gb 199
R9 390 8gb 299
R9 390x 8gb 399
Fiji pro 4gb hbm 599
Fiji xt 4gb hbm 749
Fiji xt /xtx 8gb hbm 849
Fiji vr 2x8gb hbm 1399-1499

That bios date is very recent, the leaker is most definitely a distributor and not an internal worker from AIBs (pretty tight with leaks these days). This means its shipping to retailers. Mid-June launch!

If accurate it might need some adjustments based on the 980ti release.
But that tends to show performance is coming.

Well with Nvidia having just released the 980 Ti, AMD better announce something tomorrow at their Computex event. That could prevent people from buying all the 980 Ti hardware out there if their announcement proves to be something that's worth waiting for.

No matter if those pricings are made up or not...I actually expect AMD to lowball like this.

The 300 series is not about being the best in terms of performance...it's about staying relevant at any cost until 2016.
That's great for us the user...but let's see what will actually happen..time for AMD to finally spill the beans.

But I would actually bet for AMD to try and beat Nvidia on every front by pricing alone. Still hoping for Fiji XT actually being as fast as a Titan...just so thriving for more and more performance asap is something that stays relevant.

1150Mhz on Fiji core would be quite a thing, combine that with those 'leaked' benches and it will frighteningly quick!
