Figured it out....gotta RMA it

I installed my old video card and it works like a champ. So i'm RMAing the Radeon back to Newegg. kinda sucks cause i am out about $15 or so, but at least i don't have a $59 paperweight.

They have that 15 day return policy....TODAY is the 15th day. PHEW!

Anyone know of any hot deals on a new video card? 🙁😱

First off, check all the audio cables in/outside your computer (the ones that run from your CDROM/R/RW/DVDROM/R etc to the soundcard. Then try checking all the cables from your soundcard to your speakers.

Just a thought......

I checked all the cables to make sure they are connected, other than that i'm not sure how i would check them.

Tonight i am going to remove my video card and put the old one back in. See if i still have problems.

That is a start. Also make sure all drivers are properly installed for the ATI card. I had problems with my 8500 not wanting to do dual monitors and had to reinstall drivers. All is in order now.

Yeah, i've installed the drivers for my card about three times. I'll post after i try swapping the vid cards. I'm at work still so, when i get home.
