FIFA 2001 just won't work for some reason

Hey ppl,
When I try to load FIFA 2001 (apparently damn good), I keep getting a "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK, and restart the application. I've even tried burning a copy and putting it in the other drive (CD-RW), but still no luck.
What should I do?
Incidentally, I just downloaded the 7MB DX8 file in 1 1/2 min. I'm happy!

ok, you do have the original copy, yes? how many cdrom drives?, with ea games usually you will have to put the game cd in the lowest letter drive, like if u have a E, and a D, drive, put the game in the D drive.. well let me know what happens.. btw its a pretty sweet game..
